Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Vertex Resolution ("Vertex Resolution," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our website, submit an inquiry through our forms, or otherwise interact with us. By using our website, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you fill out our inquiry form:
- Identifiers: first and last name, phone number, email address, and state of residence.
- Financial information: the service you're interested in, your estimated total unsecured debt, and your estimated credit score range.
- Consent records: when you agree to be contacted, we record the date and time of your agreement, the IP address you submitted from, the exact consent language you were shown, and the page you were on. We keep this to document your consent as required by law.
We also collect limited information automatically when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process this information to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse.
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, account numbers, or payment card details through this website. Please do not enter that information into our forms.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry and contact you about the services you asked about, by phone, text message (SMS), and email.
- To evaluate which programs or providers may fit your situation.
- To maintain records of your consent to be contacted.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
3. Who We Share Your Information With
We share personal information with:
- Affiliated businesses. Companies affiliated with Vertex Resolution that provide debt resolution, credit repair, tax relief, student loan assistance, or related services. If you submit an inquiry, one or more of these businesses may contact you about your request. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.
- Service providers. Vendors that process data on our behalf, including our customer relationship management provider (HubSpot) and our website hosting and security provider (Cloudflare). These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety recipients. Courts, regulators, or law enforcement when required by law, and parties involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, if that ever occurs.
Note for California residents: sharing your information with affiliated businesses so they can contact you about their services may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. You have the right to opt out — see Section 6 below.
We do not share your information with unaffiliated third-party marketers for their own unrelated advertising.
4. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above:
- Inquiry and contact records: retained while we are working with you and for up to 3 years after our last interaction, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Consent records (timestamp, IP address, consent text, and page URL): retained for at least 5 years to document compliance with telemarketing laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
- Website logs: retained for a short period for security and abuse prevention.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
5. How We Protect Your Information
Your information is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with reputable providers that maintain industry-standard security controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
6. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and share, and to request a copy of it.
- Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, we may retain consent records we are required to keep).
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, including sharing with affiliated businesses for their marketing.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information, to the extent we collect any.
- Non-discrimination: we will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your privacy rights.
How to submit a request
To exercise any of these rights, including "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," contact us:
- Email: privacy@vertexresolution.com with the subject line "Privacy Request"
- Phone: [PRIVACY REQUEST PHONE NUMBER]
Tell us which right you want to exercise and the name, phone number, and email address you used with us so we can locate your records. We will verify your identity by matching the details you provide against our records, and may ask for additional information if needed. We will respond within 45 days (extendable by another 45 days where permitted, with notice). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we will require proof of the agent's authorization and may still need to verify your identity directly.
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Virginia) may have similar rights and can use the same contact methods to submit a request.
7. How to Opt Out of Calls, Texts, and Emails
- Text messages: reply STOP to any SMS from us and you will be unsubscribed from further texts.
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email, or email us at privacy@vertexresolution.com.
- Phone calls: tell any representative that you no longer wish to be called, or email us with "Do Not Call" and your phone number. We will honor do-not-call requests within 10 business days.
Opting out of marketing communications does not prevent us from sending non-marketing messages required to respond to a request you have made.
8. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Third-Party Links
Our site may link to websites operated by others, including affiliated businesses. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to read them.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by a notice on this website. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
